Two questions:
1) Are the lights and brackets for F-series cars? I was told by a MINI dealer that the lights for the R-series cars have different electrical requirements and won't work properly with an F-series MINI.

Hi there, thank you for your interest.
They are not LED. About fitment please see the OEM number. They definitely ok for R series.
