So bought a car last fall with these wheels on it. The tires were installed 9,000 miles ago and are perfect, the tires alone cost $560 and I have the receipt for install. The wheels are the unknown value, I have seen them listed for over $2000, but I want to sell them not wait for the a unicorn buyer, what is a fair price for these wheels?
16" SSR Type-C - Competition Light Weight Wheels (Polished lip version)
4x100 lug pattern
Weighing in at around 11lbs each they are lighter than even Volk.
The BF Goodrich Comp 205/ 50/16 tires are 90% are in perfect working order.
Rims are used but in great condition, a few light nicks. No winters, no dents or cracks.
Let me know what they are worth if you wouldn't mind.... Thanks guys..

I love those wheels, my 2nd favorite after the Mugen MF8.
Hard to peg actual value precisely, but you were deffo on the higher end of the spectrum.
Realistically an ask $1,200 should gather some interested buyers, that's the average price I see this size go for, been casually looking the last few months because they're easier (and cheaper!) to find as opposed to the Mugen MF8's which are my at-the-end-of-the-rainbow dream wheel.
I'd wager that most people who may be interested in these rather hardcore wheels have no care whatsoever for the all-season tires either, and with them dismounted it'd be pretty easy to ship 44 pounds and that'd widen your buyers pool for sure.

I was actually thinking of dismounting the tires but I figure they are only worth $200 or so and make shipping way easier so I left them on thinking someone would maybe want them. I think I may get them dismounted then. Thanks.
Rims alone , perfect condition I see sell between 6-800$..
it's hard selling rims with tires on them now a days it seems.
someone whos spending that much on rims already either has tires or will want the exact tire size for their car.
I think youd have much much better luck selling them with no tires and asking 700$. And if your expecting to sell them online factor in shipping for buyers or your just not gonna make a deal shipping them.
They are only used rims unfortunately. And the damage on the face will steer alot away if they're looking to spend that much money..

$700 is too big of a drop.
Yes I've seen these wheels sell for 6-800$ but they were in poor condition with refurb needed, these appear to be in excellent shape.
Just the other day I saw a set sell for $800 but they had been refinished by powdercoating so some value is lost due to that because they are no longer original and the person who refinished them did not preserve the manufacturer decals either which are super important in JDM world.
The replica wheel business has gotten so crazy that they're even putting those stickers on fake wheels, just the other day on FB I saw a set of MF8 reps for sale and was astounded to see those stickers --- these are wheels you can buy on ebay from sellers in Malaysia or Thailand for around $700...
...they actually look quite nice and I even inquired about them once with one of the ebay sellers requesting what they weigh and the seller told me 15.75lbs which isn't much less than the Rota RB's that I run now so decided against getting the fakes --- the authentic MF8's weigh 12.75lbs in that size.
So it is important to include a picture of the wheel on a scale to denote that they're the real deal,
because the fakers can't fake that as the reps are cast instead of forged and always weigh more.
