Description:

I have a classic mini supercharger fitting kit for the CLASSIC MINI.  It should work on any A/A+ series engine.  It does not include the supercharger as it is designed for you to buy an R53/R52 supercharger.

It is brand new and unused.  It is still in the box is arrived in.  I simply decided to spend the $3K to buy the VMAXSCART kit.

It is available in EBAY at:

Interesting... So where would you mount the intercooler in this instance?

No intercooler

I have only seen intercoolers worked in with turbo setups. This setup is not designed for an intercooler. It is setup like the jonspeed kit. The carb goes on the end of the intake tube, then supercharger, then into the custom intake manifold. The vmax setup does not have an intercooler either, but there is chargecooler option with that one.

Very informative and interesting! Haven't seen classics with superchargers before, thanks for the response, and sorry for throwing your post off a bit, since you're trying to sell, not educate :D Thanks for the education anyways!

I decided to spend the few grand to get the VMAXSCART full and complete setup. The kit I am selling is much more economical. You will need to source a supercharger from an r53 (2002-2006 S). A standard engine will also need a decompression plate if not rebuilding the engine to a lower compression. Both are easy to find. There are probably a few odds and ends like perhaps a carb needle designed for forced induction. This is designed to bolt up a HIF44. The new kit I bought comes with a new carb, so I could include the HIF44 I am replacing. HP should be 70ish with a 998 and 90+ with a 1275 from my understanding. HP will be more with a 1293 or larger rebuild.
