I’m selling an R53 three spoke steering wheel with the matching airbag. The wheel has controls for radio and for cruise control, and a wiring harness is included (and shown in the photos). I purchased this to install on my ‘04 Cooper S, but the wiring harness didn’t match up to what I needed, and now that I’m selling the car, I’m just letting go of the spare parts I’ve accumulated. The steering wheel came off of a 2006 Mini. Please check fitment before purchasing this wheel, and be aware there are multiple wiring harness styles on these wheels. Would you take 100 bucks for this? I'm trying to fit this to my 04 as well and notice you mentioned that the wiring didn't mate up. Were you referring to the steering wheel controls or the air bag wires? I think the airbag wires are the same as the 04 models
The airbag connectors were fine, but the steering wheel control connectors didn’t match up. I know the swap can be done because hundreds of people have done it. I just didn’t want to mess with finding the right connector fir my car, or with re-wiring the plug ends.
As for price, how about $110? I need to pay shipping, and that’ll cost quite a bit.
