You are correct the tachometer is the same. However R60 has a different dash and it doesn't have enough "back space" to mount.
I am happy to sell you one but I do not want my customers got my stuff and later complaining fitment issue.

I think for an R60 it will be tight, and likely not fit at all. In my R55, I bought the dual pod version, and I had to cutoff the right side cup. When installed, the cup rubbed against the vent. I have plenty of room for the left side cup.

This was test fitted onto a Clubman at that time I checked for clearances and it was ok. Perhaps the steering wheel column tilt made the difference.
But yes R60 will not fit.

Are you referring to Chrono package on the R53? I have not had the chance to work on a R53 with chrono package and was told the tachometers are a bit smaller than R53 with standard tachometer. I cannot guarantee fitment for that one. Sorry
