Description:
Aquamist Hfs-3 Water Methanol Kit. Condition is "New".
Was never able to install this in my Mini Cooper S Supercharged 2005 r53. My loss your gain. This IS the most advanced "Progressive" distribution Water Meth Kit on the market. Do your own reserch at Aquamist-Direct.com or in the forums. Not responsible if this does or does not fit your car, please reserch this yourself I cannot answer questions about that. But is works in MANY MANY MODELS.
DOES NOT INCLUDE PUMP!!
DOES NOT COME WITH PUMP... you can purchase the specific one @ Aquamist-direct. Com or you may be able to use a different pump. They Aquamist one cost $240 new but maybe used ore elsewhere or different pump cheaper.
I have not touched this kit since I purchased it and am about 99% sure all the parts are there. If you receive and the parts do not match everything from Aquamist-Direct.com website let me know and I will refund you the amount so you can get that one part. But confident it's all there. If somthing IS missing can't be nothing more than a $5 part, will refund up to $15 if you can send pictures off site of what's missing, I will take pictures as well of what's included so I know what I sent you. Hope this makes sense,.... Like I said pretty confident everything is included and if somthing missing its not something major.
From Aquamist-Direct.com.....
Aquamist has been pioneering the IDC based water injection system since 2003 with great
success. The HFS3-pwm system is designed to complete the Aquamist’s PWM-valve
delivery system line-up, it allows precise metering of water/methanol injection for the
modern high performance engine. The dash gauge, flow sensor and “Plug and Play”
features are standard to minimise installation time.
The system retrieves the fuel flow (IDC) and manifold pressure signals (MPS) from the
engine management system as the prime source to control the flow of water. This enables
perfect balance of water to fuel flow under all engine loads. The system can also be
controlled by a third-party ECU with its own custom water/methanol flow map.
A “Fast Acting Valve” (FAV) controls the delivery rate based on the PWM signal from the
HFS-3 controller. A constant line pressure (160 psi) is provided by the Aquatec pump
working in the “by-pass” mode. A PWM valve system guarantees wide dynamic range.
There is a non-gauge/flow sensor option (HFS-2) for non-critical application where a
failsafe is not needed. A dash switch is provided instead. The user can disable the
system and reduce the manifold pressure to wastegate pressure if needed.
But if you read it doesn’t come with a pump though
Do you like the SP 2.5? I got the AEM for the IDC signal which aquamist has, but everything in the aquamist is better.
