I have been tempted by quite a few too, including a few r52s. Just trying to be patient until the right one comes up but it’s definitely frustrating.

If you have to bump this thread again, you havent been looking very hard....Been 4 or 5 this past week on BAT. At least two R53's with mileage under 38k, there were two JCW's also wicked low mileage and one with mileage under 68K.

I’m well aware what BaT is lol. I usually know about most of the mini’s before they even get submitted to BaT and if I don’t, I know about them before they get posted. I’m looking for a JCW, not a S, with some rare options. Believe me, if it’s posted for sale, I probably know about it. I have found a few cars that meet my standards, but unfortunately they aren’t for sale.

 

you said in your original post that you were looking for a super clean R53....nothing was said about it being a JCW car, then you said it would be nice if it was a JCW

so if you are going to change the rules of what you are looking for in the middle of the post that you made, you might want to change the entire first post

 

Haha I guess you’re right. I probably should also add that it must be a facelift car too. I just won’t be happy otherwise. 🙄. However, Jackmac does have a S that I would definitely buy, even though it basically has every JCW part available lol. So to say that it HAS to be a JCW might be incorrect as well.

You saw the 02 JCW that WGJP posted a link to yesterday? 22k miles on it - completely original and mint. Original owner was the wife of the CEO of BMW USA back when the R53 was released.

 

I stand corrected - not a slicktop at all. Love the positioning of the switch for the front driving lights - much better than in the US

I know you posted this several months ago, but I'm actually going to be listing my MINI soon. I have an 05 dark silver metallic, matching mirror caps, black roof, 88k miles, white fifteen 52 turbomac wheels, KW Varient 2 suspension, car has been solid for me & the previous owner. Not an easy decision for me to make, took me about 8 months to decide to sell it honestly b/c I love this car so much but she needs a new home with a fellow enthusiast. Last year I had my headliner redone with black fabric, local upholsterer did this as my husband got this done for me for my birthday. He also sourced anthracite pieces to replace my 'tan' pieces with, everything we found is in excellent shape & looks amazing! Anyway, lmk if you found something yet or would be interested.
