Your ideal car to look for is an F55 Carbon Edition

 

I thought new GTI's were supposed to be amazing, and capable of running like 12's with a tune(?) Any reason for wanting the switch? I'm curious to hear what someone who's experienced both has to say. I was assuming the Golf was the superior car in many ways. (And sorry to hear the GTI was totaled, good luck with the future Mini)

 

My GTI and MINI experience is a little dated, but while we really liked our GTI (2012 Mk6) and it was a better, faster, and more practical car than our MINI on paper... we just didn't love it the same way we did our MINI.

I'm not sure everyone would feel that way, but we've had Mustangs, GTI, BMW i3s, Tesla, etc., and it's the same story for all of them.

 

Hey mate! So I actually work at a MINI dealership in Edison, NJ. Not sure if you were shopping new or if you're still in the market, but we just got in a White Silver JCW Clubman.

I mostly use this forum for my personal cars but you're looking for a fairly specific vehicle, thought I would put it out there.
