Wisconsin Winter
Wisconsin Winter
Hey Folks!
I am relocating from Iowa to the Racine area in the next few weeks with my wee mini Laurel convertible.
I have already fitted some Dunlop WinterMaxx with winter wheels, will I have any problems getting around with the extra snow??
Looking forward to getting over to a couple of events once we are settled

I hope so, looking forward to proving the doubters wrong! Its a manual too, makes it easier in the snow.
Snow tires make a world of a difference! You'll be happy you purchased them.

No Problem
With Snow tires the Wisconsin winter is usually manageable. Only in the most severe snow accumulations should you have problems getting around and then they are usually advising everyone to stay home if possible. Of course, my job does not allow for that so through the snow we go on Michelin X Ice xi3 tires.
Honestly i would not even worry about it. the Milwaukee and Racine area does a very good job on snow clean up.. as for winter tires on the mini i cant help you there i dont drive my cooper in the winter. best of luck
