JCW Oil Consumption?

What's up everyone. I have a 2006 stock JCW and it has approx 7250 miles on her and it burns slightly more than 1 quart of oil every 1500 miles. I have been known to drive aggressively and there are no leaks, so I know this is out of wack. I don't want the service dept to say oh you have been driving too aggresively and not cover something that they should because I have been told everything is stored on your ECU or could I just unplug the battery? How many miles does your mini go before it burns up a qt of oil? The service dept here in Elmsford NY is supposedly top ranked by Mini which is terrible because it sucks and they keep the car forever and sometimes break stuff, but my alternative is that I could fight Manhatten traffic and go there, what is the press on Mini of Manhatten? Sorry for a lot of Newbie questions but I am a little confused. Thanks in advance for any help.

Never lost a whole qt in 10,000 miles and with 2 oil changes it's stayed that way

i have an 06 JCW MCS as well -- i replaced about 3/4 of a quart just before my first scheduled service (around 10,000 mi) and that's it. surely it's normal to burn some, especially given that it's a new engine and the metal adsorbs some of the oil, but it sounds like you're losing more than normal.

also make sure you're testing the oil level the same way each time you check it, which is supposed to be when the engine is warm/hot, but 15 min after you stop driving it to let the oil settle in the pan. it'll appear less if you check it cold.

Try one of the NJ dealerships, either Prestige or Morristown.

I have an 06 JCW, also with just over 7500 miles. I just took it in for it's first year oil change. In the last year, I have had to add 1 quart. I do drive it quite aggressively and have attended an all day track session (during which it burned no oild despite being WOT most of the time).
