Just left the dealership today and a JCW coupe was 35K so I'm assuming a JCW cabrio is more, no?

Just mentioning it... I would expect it to be a little more than a coupe.

According to this article, http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=129626, the JCW cabrio will have a base price of $33k. I'm really hoping the configurator materializes soon because I have a build slot for an 09 convertible and i'm very interested in getting the JCW cabrio. From Motoring File JCW from Day 1 which should be March 09 for the R57

JCW for the R57

The R57 convertible will be available as a factory JCW from day one. It will also be available with the dealer installed JCW engine kit.
Time-frame

As previously reported the R57 will go on-sale in Spring of 2009. We’ve heard an exact time-line of March but that could always slip a week or two. Expect the launch to happen worldwide with the Cooper, Cooper S and JCW models with a diesel Cooper to eventually follow
