What is the easiest way to spot the difference under the hood between the full JCW kit and just the JCW "Sound" package? Looks like the Sound was just for the Cooper as opposed to the Cooper S - correct? Thanks.

 

The JCW has a silver plastic trim piece on the intercooler whereas the S has black plastic. There's also a JCW logo on the trim piece and a JCW logo and serial number plaque on the valve cover.

The JCW Sound Kit is only available for the Cooper and Cooper Cabrio. It comes with a numbered engine badge, a labeled intake, a new injector cover with JCW badge, an external JCW badge an engraved JCW performance exhaust and JCW ECU flash.

The full JCW Cooper Tuning kit comes with a new, badged and numbered cylinder head, engraved performance exhaust, injector cover with JCW badge, external boot badge, JCW side markers and JCW ECU flash. Those kits are very rare and no longer available.

 

JCW Kits are still available at the dealer including the one w/ the 380cc injectors anf the JCW Intake.

 

JCW kits for the Cooper S are still available, yes. The JCW Tuning kit for the Cooper is no longer available, unless a dealer is sitting on one somewhere.
