New battery for 2020 JCW Clubman $450!
Mine's about 4 years old and needs replacing. Because it's one of those with just the anode terminal exposed and it's partly beneath the cowling it's really expensive. Anyone else notice this?
Yep, battery is like 200 range Then they change you labor to install. Its not that hard to do. Then you have to reset the battery in your car computer system.

The battery was $280 (plus tax), and the labor was about $100. I assume they reset it (I didn't have it done at a Mini dealer). They reset the service indicator too, I had regular oil sevice, tires rotated.
Yep they reset just like our schwaben scan tool does, its like a counter for the countdown of on the charging of the alt to battery. Older it gets, more charge. Make sure they reset the battery in the computer.
