JCW N14 cams

Just got my car back from installing a new timing chain. It is nice and quiet now. I decided to add a little power and changed the cams It was done by a Mini specialist not me.
The car is very smooth but is down on power. According to my P3 gauge it went from 6.3 to 6.6 It feels much slower in 5th and 6th gear.
The vendor does not seem to want to share the info on specs or even the brand. I am guessing that they are made by Cat based on price. I want to give the specs to my garage so they can be sure of what they are doing.
Any ideas? I would greatly appreciate some help here.

Why did you install cams as opposed to a tune on a turbo engine?

I did get a tune it is a RPM tune that I got from Chad At Detroit Tune. I had a stage 2 Manic tune but it did not understand the cam change. I bought the RPM tune and they nailed the function. It is awesome. It is far better than the Manic Tune and works flawlessly with the new cams. SMOOTH performance. The delivery of torque is much more linear instead of dumping it all in in one spot.
Very pleased.

These cams are great and make great power. Note they will only work for an N14 https://www.detroittuned.com/mini-cooper-cat-cams/

They are Cat Cams. My model number is 1302601 Cat Cams only make 2 grinds that I know of and this is the mildest one. It is all I need. I have the RPM stage 3. It came with 3 tunes. 1.1 bars feels way faster than stock ever did so I do not know if it is the tune or the cams. It revs higher and has more top end. I feel like the acceleration is better throughout the rpm band. It also has 1.35 and 1.45 bars and if I calculated it right should give just over 20 lbs of boost.
I never thought I would say this, but, I might switch it down to stock and wait for events to turn it back up. It produces more than enough in stock for every day use. I do have a switch that I bought when I did the Manic Tune.

how did you go about timing the cams. What’s steps did you follow. I had bought a super sport engine from Chris sneed and he messed up the timing and now we are in the process of timing.
