I am on my 4th MINI. My first was an'08S with sports suspension and 17" runflats. The car would tramline and was unbearable on anything but fresh pavement. At 11,000 miles I gave in and bought some Cooper tires and the problems went away. My next was a '12S, stardard suspension and 16" runflats. The ride was better , but after about 15,000 miles, I broke down and bought some Michelin AS/3s and again, euphoria. My current '19 JCW I/O with 18" wheels and Dunlap tires seems to ride OK with great handling ( but I did replace the tires with Michelin AS 3s).
What is the difference between the "S" suspension and the standard "JCW" suspension?
