Dinan Elite D440-0052 vs 0056

I just noticed my dealer installed Dinan part # D440-0052 (per Dinan fits S model). The JCW part # is D440-0056. Wonderful, this may explain why my car stalls daily. I was going to have the stalling addressed when I bring the car in for the front sway bar and/or exhaust. This happen to anyone else? I'm sure they'll say it's the same thing.

Great question. I am planning to add the Elite to my JCW, and I noticed that there were 2 different part numbers. Standing by, hoping someone can shed some light. Perhaps a vendor or moderator can help.

I think the 55 or 56 is the JCW model depending on year. The 52 looks like it is for non JCW applications.

There are indeed two different Elite models for the F series cars (at least for 2017), one for the Base/S and one for the JCW. Check out Dinan's website at the links below.

Installed an Elite on my 2017 F57 S convertible about three weeks ago - this one https://www.dinancars.com/product/d4...s=&mid=Cooper/

The JCW takes a different one - this https://www.dinancars.com/product/d4...s=&mid=Cooper/

As an aside, all the time I'm fiddling w/ the BMW connectors (figuring them out and getting key fobs far enough away was the hardest part), I'm thinking "this is a mistake". An expensive car, what if I have trouble, etc, etc. When I was done, car started right up w/ no codes. Reset date/time. Went for test drive. Brought a huge smile to my face. Said another way, the difference is amazing. I want to drive the car all the time.

You won't be sorry if you install one.

Just got back from dealer, they swapped out the "S" module with the "JCW" module. I'm glad I checked the Dinan site or I would never have picked up on their mistake.

So, what is your opinion? Are you experiencing any noticeable gains?
