Does this Caliper piston looks normal?

Just found a set GP 2 brake calipers while cleaning the garage. Planning to put it on my MCS track car, but the rubber on the piston looks cracked. Is this normal? The caliper has been sitting in the garage more than 18 months.

any input would be appreciated.

So not normal. You can get a rebuild kit to replace those seals

Are you serious? I would not even ask the question.
