Door Sill logo sticker Replacement

Anyone done this. Mine is scratched and the black marker did not do the trick. I ordered a replacement from ECS but how to get the old one off and remove the adhesive. Thinking using the "de-badging" dental floss technique. Anyone have any thoughts...don't want to scratch the sill getting the sticker off!

Thanks for the order, get a hair dryer or heat gun and then the dental floss. I used a putty knife afterwards also. With the heat gun.

The dental floss did not work. The backing on mine was way too thick. I've used this technique to debadge my MCS but this required damaging the original sill. Basically I got it started using a slot driver then heated and pulled it off. did not need the putty knife - came off cleanly.
My new sill looks..well..brand new!
I'm sure I will not be the only person to do this.
