2006 JCW (factory), 78,000 miles.

Been though a few northeast Ohio winters, some surface rust on the underbits but body is in pretty good shape aside from a ton of rock chips. Needed a clutch around 60k but nothing else major (a handful of minor things though).

I have a 06 JCW with 234,000 miles on him!! He's still going strong, all cylinders hit over 8.5 on a compression check (3 at 9+ and the other at 8.5). Sprintex supercharger, Alta suspension mods, M7 tower brace, custom exhaust, factory cold air intake with Samco intake hose, Brisk Plugs, it runs like a scalded cat!

Just put a deposit down on a 2006 R53 JCW today. 158,000kms. Thanks to the vin decoder I was able to look up and find its not a factory spec, but a kit car, but it looks to be a decent one.
From the build sheet it has the LSD and 'sports suspension' on top of that the car also has the Aero package and JCW wheels (added by dealer). PO added a custom built exhaust which sounds sweet. Someone in the past replaced the factory airbox with a K&N short ram, which I think i will look to put back to stock.. maybe..

Is there a very obvious difference between JCW brakes and standard S brakes? Looks like the calipers have been painted, so i don't trust the stickers on them.

Interior is mint, everything works, body is in great shape, not even a door ding. Needs tires.. not sure if I want to run the 18's though, at times I am commuting 100 miles/day, and the the choices are limited and expensive in 205/40/18. Came with a good set of snows on mini 16's too which is handy as the plan is for this to be my daily, and here in Ontario we can get a decent amount of snow. Car looks to have been well undercoated as well thankfully. Paying $7700 canuck bux for it.

Nice, i doubt that roof would last long up here.. but anyways...

My car has the aero package.. and the rear bumper cover and fender flares (to just past the reflectors) appears to be one piece... is this the OE aero bumper cover?

OIn the pic Minislo posted that has what looks like the multi pieve cover with separate pieces for the lower trim and the 'flares'

I just picked up a 05 dealer installed JCW 210 with 77K for $7000. I think it was a decent price for a low miles mini. I was looking for a replacement for my 03. Funny my 03 and 05 are made a year apart. But somehow the JCW got a 05 designation. It seems to be a hybrid of late 04 and facelift.

Dark Silver, Black top, no sunroof. BBS R99 Aero side skirt with Chrono Pack. I will miss my cruise control. I am in the process of swapping my favorite parts.
