The JCW seats will not be cloth as standard.

The stock option are the seats pictured above. These are alcantara centres with the red accents. Red will be the only colour choice for the accent.

The only way to ditch the red accents will be to take the full leather option. This will give you leather centres and replace the red accents with a darker coloured alcantara.

I was looking into placing an order for a JCW this past weekend (in the UK) and I was told by my dealer that they were only building automatics until June or July. This seems absolutely bonkers to me, has anyone else heard anything similar?

I'm sure there's some dealers out there taking deposits on order slots, but I don't think any US dealer can actually submit an order for one yet. Production starts in March from what I've seen, so probably May before you see them in showrooms.

That's what I thought with the Detroit Show, and the articles that were written at that time. Kind of wish that some accent color rather than red was available, but I realize that red is the JCW emphasis color for speed and accent
Both for the interior and exterior.

3-Gauge pricing!

Has anyone seen what the tarif/price is to be on this 3-gauge set? Just curious as its kind of old school interesting, brining back the rally days of MINI before ell racing got too expensive, even rallying.

Anyone know about suspension options? Is there DDC on this model. Is it just available with sport suspension?

Sport suspension is standard, DDC will be an option and regular suspension will be a no cost alternative.

I have a MCS F56. I've had problems. So many that I'm thinking of ditching it. My dealer is offering a good trade up. I miss the taughtness of my R56 MCS (if that is actually a word). Not sure about the standard transmission or auto. Never has an auto but they are so easy to drive!

Ok, I'll bite, what's the DDC suspension? I'm thinking that it's the port or dealt installed adjustable JCW suspension. Getting too old for all these acronyms!

Sport Suspension is what you want here. I drove a friends' F56 MCS over the weekend and I like mine better. Hers was a little cushy.

My AT shifts different than her F56. Hers was in 5th gear at 43 MPH (sport mode), mine's in 4th. Again, I like my AT a lot, had MT on my 2007 MCS. She has zero exhaust sound, and mine has decent sounds/burbles in Sport.

Had a play on the online config an this is pretty much my MCS spec, but in JCW form!!

Since the F56 depreciates like a stone, I sadly wont be ordering, but I will probably go for the FJCW spec front bumper with the fog light delete. The front end looks hard as nails.

What Online Config did you use to Build the JCW?

Says he's from England. The UK Mini site had their F56 configurator up before the US Mini site too. I tried it. I think I had to make up an English address before it would let me in.

Yea, probe the MINI UK site or the MINI.de site . They are usually the first ones up with new stuff.

I looked on both MINI UK and MINI DE. The John Cooper Works isn't listed yet. I can't wait for more info to be Released.

The config is on the MINI.de site

Nothing on the MINI UK site yet, sadly.

Mind you, MINI UK have been nothing short of a shambles with keeping owners and customers up to date with news.

I would love the meet the moron who's in charge!!!

I know what you mean none of my local dealers have any idea of the spec
Feels like I'm telling them rather than the other way round

Where did you find it on the .de site? The JCW config isn't an option under the main navigation!

Chomping at the bit for this thing!

Right, I found the same thing on the Mini.De site, no F56 JCW's, unless it's hidden in there somewhere. My German name doesn't mean that I know the German language, so that doesn't help.
