a GP is a special edition MINI (2000 made world wide, 500 state side) they are more aerodynamic with bits under body panels, spoiler, front lip. Also if i remember correctly a better tune, pulley bigger inter cooler... the interior is basic, no back seats, no rear audio speakers. i dont own one so this is me speaking from what i've seen and read about. there is a lot of info on the web that can give you beeter info then i did. either way they are pure awesome 1st gens at lease.

Did you order the one from Outmotoring? If so then you probably got the JCW style grill not the AERO grill. There is a difference. I have the AERO grill and it took about 45 min to fit the lower grill.

You're correct - I ordered the JCW and mis-referred to it as Aero - it took me a bit longer to fit it in any event - but after I figured everything out it was pretty straight forward
Personally I prefer those front ends to the 49 Chevy horizontal bars, but then again others prefer and pay for the bars rather than the "plastic" grille.

Can anyone give a step-by-step on installing the lower grill as I have the aero grill from outmotoring.
Thanks, ROD.
