But you are in Germany, I doubt shipping would be too feasible right?

OP, are you just focused on hp for bragging rights or what is the end goal? Torque plays an important part too in daily driving.

At the wheels. Several tunes I've had pushing more than that but I find 240-250 at the wheels keeps the car completely driveable like stock. Seems the tunes that ive had that pushed more than that always had some sort of quirks. (ie. shifting, idling, not suitable for the track, etc, etc)

Alta had given me some good high HP tunes but when I took it to the track, I would get a CEL. (too much boost for instance) In one afternoon at the track, they sent me 5 custom tunes. In order to stay on it repeatedly at the track, we had to back down some of the tables.

But like I said, if you can get 240-250 at the wheels, you will have a car that scoots like crazy, idles correctly, doesn’t overheat, shifts correctly, etc, etc...

My .02 for what it’s worth....

Mark

No not bragging rights just want to see what it would take to get 250 horsepower to the wheels. Send it needs to be usable as a daily driver as I drive 150 miles a day commute sometimes in heavy traffic. so what I gather here is for a nice daily driver keep it around 230-240 hp. Going to order alta intake and downpipe, intercooler with a access port. I find the car exhaust to be loud enough as it is.

Keep the stock intake, air temp is 1 degree over ambient using stock intake.buy a akrapovic downpipe, forge helix or tyrolsport intercooler and a access port then you will have 250ish whp.

alta intercooler has fitment issues and the intake they market draws hot air.

This was my best dyno pull from an RMW tune party last year. This was before the Akrapovic DP.

With the full Akrapovic turbo back exhaust on, I am pretty sure I would see 250 at the wheels next time I get on a dyno.

JCW plus all the mods done... I could be driving an e90 M3. And I would rather be driving a M3 than a JCW.

My JCW is WAY more fun to drive than my E90 M3. Not more capable, but miles more fun.

I wanted a 1M but couldn't get an allocation. My dealer couldn't even tell me how far down on their own waiting list I would have been so I went with the JCW, which I don't regret one bit. Having said that, I haven't seen a single 1M here...

PAW motorsports does a flash on the N18 motors but it is not refined yet. We dyno'd a 2012 Countryman S awd on a PAW flash and the graph was very erratic. The guys at PAW are working to refine the map. The numbers we saw on a mustang dyno with DP Exhaust and PAW Flash were 168awhp 210awtq. You can factor 18% to get dynojet numbers. I'm not sure what the exact conversion is for BHP for those on the other side of the pond I was pleasantly surprised by the all wheel numbers given the amount of drivetrain loss in the awd system. That being said the tune was not so great and more power could definitely be had. The graphs were all over the place.
