Rubber Boot vs. Filtered Air pipe?...

Hey guys. I am really enjoying my MCS and I have been looking at potentially upgrading to the JCW stage 1 kit airbox and filter housing. In looking at the kit, it appears to merely be an upper box assy, with a seal and a new cone style filter. BUT, when I look at the boot/pipe, the MCS and the stock JCW have a different p/n and also have corresponding different nomenclature. If you view the Fuel preparation system under "intake muffler"...I am particularly concerned with position 10. Can anybody tell me the physical or functional difference to warrant the different p/n? They don't list it with the Stage 1 kit so is it safe to assume that the MCS rubber boot works with the Stage 1 kit airbox and that the JCW filtered air pipe does NOT work with the Stage 1 kit airbox? I would like to iron out these questions/details prior to looking any further into this. Thank you all in advance!
