I just picked up my 2009 JCW car and I'm still trying to find out where and what kind of oil and air filter do I need. In looking on the net and things get confussing around 2009 ?

Since it appears that you have a 2009 Mini, I believe that you posted this question in the wrong forum. This is the 1st Generation (up to 2006 MCS) forum and I suspuct you want the similar forum listed under 2nd Generation.

 

I am now confused which forum I belong in. I have a2009 John Cooper Works Mini. I have some basic questions that may apply to other models ? Where should I be.

Just remember, any factory turbo mini is 2nd gen, supercharged 1st gen. This simplifies the worry and questions about the cabrio's beaing one year behind.

 

R-56.....2nd gen. Then any spcefic jcw question to the ice r56 forum.
