I had to go through the intake manifold fix\replacement yesterday.. So far so good. My car didn't start well on Tuesday (very cold) went directly to MINI dealership ( just down the road from where I work ) and they knew right away what it was. gave me a loaner and I got my car back and fixed the next day at noon.. cold this morning, no problems thus far.
Crappy I had the problem but mini did fix it fast.
ISSUE now is i lost my burble, i loved the burble now it's gone, whom ever worked on my car must have tuned it out for some reason. Is there an easy adjustment I can do to get it back or does this have to be done by mini say on my next oil change.. will they know what i'm talking about...thanks.

 

This is the second post in a week from people who had a software adjustment (likely what they did to your car) and have lost the burble. The other poster also said his butt dyno detects less power, how about you?

 

Car doesn't feel like it lost any power, but I don't dyno it so i don't know for sure. Hope not.

 

you get less burble the colder it gets.
