Evolution of my MINI

1) Stock 06 JCW Cooper S at the dealer
2) 18" rims added on...
3) Racing strip comes off....
4) Hood scoop painted white, R90 17" rims...
5) Aero Kit added...
6) Checkered mirrors... and 18" rims added back on.

also have JCW strut brace, JCW suspension, DENSION ipod, short antenna, lighter sills....

now considering the audio.... and maybe a 2 piece 18" rims.... and JCW shift light....

looking good! The checkered mirrors look a bit out of place though.

I was just about to say the same thing.

I'm a strong believer in attaining balance through a theme when you're designing your MINI. If you want the checkered theme, go checkered. If you want UJ, to with the UJ. If you want the stealthy look, black out the entire car, etc, etc.

Not saying your MINI doesn't look good... it DOES ! Just saying I would either do more checkered stuff or go with white mirror caps to match the scoop and the roof.

I am envious of the aero kit though !

thanks for the comments. will take a look into the other checkered stuff....

the JCW suspension...... the best bang for the buck in my opinion... totally worth it... GF says best mod in my mini... something that she actually notices.... so..

all the stuff were DIY except the painted scoop and the JCW suspension..

Very nice But I would lose the checkers also. Or go all the way with them. But don't.
