JCW Need help what's the JCW Aerokit ground clearance?
Need help what's the JCW Aerokit ground clearance?
What's the clearance distance with the factory JCW with sport suspension and the aerokit. I have a slight curb hump on entering my driveway and was wondering if I'll need a ramp (or temporary board) to avoid scrapping the bottom of the front of the aerokit.
I've got the JCW sport suspension with JCW aero kit. Just went outside to measure the clearance and I got: 5.5" clearance on the sides (where the air dam is slightly lower) and 6.5" on the front, center section.
I *KNOW* that when I come up to one of those concrete parking blocks that I would DEFINITELY hit it if I tried to go over it.
Another important note: I have the 17" Challenge wheels. Just in case that has anything to do with affecting the clearance.
BTW, they now have those small ramps that fit in the gutter at the end of most driveways. I believe I saw it in the Griot's Garage catalog.
Hope this information helps.
