Pay the extra $5 or whatever and get them from Helix. Then you will know for sure 100% what your getting and they won't jerk you around.

Great customer support and prices are some of the best that I've seen in the community.

Ok I had no problems with Minispeed at all and I got JCW injectors, didn't get jerked around, in fact they were very nice to deal with, very friendly people. Which seems to rare in the NAM community lately.

RELAX sport...re-read what I wrote...I wasn't "trashing" anyone.

Simply stating the fact that Helix WONT jerk you around...why waste time reading into things that aren't there?

I didn't say you trashed anybody. In your own words "why waste time reading into things that aren't there?"

Minspeed only sells the JCW 380s injectors. Peter does not sell drilled out injectors or brandX after markets. He looked at others and felt quality was not consistent or up to snuff. SO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GETTING.

PS - this does not imply that there is anything wrong w/ Helix simply that you can get 380 JCW injectors at a great price from Minspeed.

If you really want injectors done right, this is the place to go.

Seems like a very good price for OEM's.

hmmmmm. I thought 380s would be good, but maybe I should get larger, that way if I ever decide to get a head and cam, I'll be set. If I go with the 400s or 440s, I'd need a custom tune though, wouldn't I?

Running 400 and especielly 440cc withought a custom tune would be a no no. Talk to ryephile about injectors.

From what I have seen, if you get 380s and later on want larger ones, don't think it would be hard to sell the 380s for a good price. Just my 2 cents..

Agreed. I'll stick with getting some 380s, until the time rolls around for a real custom tune.

No Herbie, the JCWs and Stockers have that same split flow pattern. We've never said that the stock or JCW flow in a single stream.

I have received my JCW 380 from Outmotoring. Our tuning session with Jan is still 2 months away. Should I install now or wait a week before the tune?
What are the side effects of running it without tune? I have the Shark 93 with my stock 340s and burn color of the plugs look normal.

Get a set of 440's. You can always dial the flow back, the 380's can only flow so much.

FWIW I had a set of the Bosche/Helix 380's and had no issues at all with them. They worked as advertised and are nearly identical to the JCW Injectors.

Shouldn't have any issues. Your ECU should adjust to the 380s. After you install them, yank your battery positive cable for 30 seconds to reset the ECU and then go for a spirited drive. Your fuel trims should automatically dial themselves back.
