Where is the Auto JCW Tuning Kit Years Almost Up

Every press release said JCW Tuning Kit For Automatic will be released later this year however I can't find an official word or update. Does anyone have info on this subject?

BMW realized that it would be completely pointless and dropped it.

For all of you who have CVT MCS, get the JCW upgrade kit and 15% smaller S/C pulley. It would boost you with around 35 to 40 HP!!

I have that feeling

Despite the fact that a couple of members gave their feedback on the JCW Tuning Kit for the auto I am really starting to think something is wrong. How do you know BMW Scrapped the project?

They originally said it would come for the R53 auto - but they didn't ever make it available.
If the same is true for the R56, they won't make an official "not coming" announcement, it'll simply never appear

Its available in Europe...hang in there..should be coming. JCW does not move as fast as their cars. Hopefjully it has not been dropped as eluded to above. Gabe form Motoringifle's advanced notice info is usually pretty accurate. Hoepfully it will follow the European intro as in the past. Europe usually has lead tiem to US intro just like for the manual teans cars.

comments from a completed install on auto trans MCS in England..sounds good..

All done. Makes a real difference - installed at 20,000 miles so the engine was nice and loose anyway. immediate impression is that there is now more power available, it pulls particularly well from 2k revs at lower speeds and at, er, track day speeds, it is now immediately more responsive. Basically between the gears on the automatic there is less tendency to change down and where it used to hold on to a gear almost to the red line it now changes earlier. they have clearly remapped the gearbox as the install takes longer. about 1mpg difference although that's more about being heavier footed because it is so much fun. cornering is also enhanced as you can get the power down quicker and tighten the line.
and those big tubes at the back? pure filth and the size balances the JCW roof spoiler. exhaust note is just a rumble the whole time.

Any word of when the jcw kit for the auto will be ready ?

Well judging by the fact that I’ve sat in one already at an “undisclosed location”, it has to be fairly close
