That's still too rich for me, but I'd be curious to see one in action in a MINI and to get someone's impression on the programming hassle.

I dunno if you could compare that lit up thing to a Whalen. Someone that has used a Whalen would have to try it out 1st. Plus not everyone needs a **** with a lighted # to tell them what gear they are in It also cracks me up that the manufacturer claims that using their light up **** could reduce your fuel consumption by 15%

Yeah - that looks like a stat pulled fresh and hot from someone's steaming arsehole, but what do *I*know...?

It's still super cool though, and if it cost about $50 less I might actually be tempted. I'd like toknow how finicky it is about slopes and needing to be reprogrammed as well - the instructions seem to indicate that if you go up or down too sharp a slope that the sensor cluster can get confused...

Hey... it lights up and, well, it's ME. Of course I like it.

And, hey, if I cared about what people think about me, I'd drive a champaign-colored Accura or some other instantly-forgettable sedan, like every other sheep, so "Baaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
