Interior/Exterior Temp sensor mounts where on Aero front?

Temp sensor mounts where on Aero front?
I'm in the midst of putting on an OEM Aero kit on my '06 MCS.
On the factory grill, there is a plastic clip molded in-the sensor easily clips out of it.
When I went to install the sensor onto the Aero grill, there is no such clip. There's a small fin in the same general location, but no clip. The instructions say to install the sensor using the "strut (their word for the small fin) and retaining clip".
No retaining clip was included and calls to two dealers didn't shed any light, but as there are hundreds of Aero kits out there, someone must have some idea how this works....

Okay, for anyone that references this topic in the future, here's the answer-
Later instructions (July '04) do clarify how to mount it- a cable tie! The original '02 instructions didn't say that....
I was planning on using one if I couldn't find the factory solution; kind of mickey mouse.......perfect for a MINI I guess
