My wife bought me a license plate frame for my Mini that has an led set up for messageas, etc. It has two wires for power (hot & ground) but I'm not sure where to connect them.

I talked to my mechanic and he recommended not using it because of computer and electrical reasons on newer cars.

Anyone have any thoughys or experience with this?

well its just LED's and plenty of people have those on their minis already...i wouldn't worry too much about that. As for the wires you could probably tap into the license plate lights.

BUt running them would likely look tack with the way the MINI is configured
