Official Chrome Trim Pieces?

Does anyone know where you can order the official MINI chrome trim pieces? I have seen tons of these 'stick on' ones, and I don't really want that. I actually only want the pieces for the speedometer and two air vents, since I don't want to 'over-chrome' my car. Do they sell the pieces individually, or do you have to buy all of the parts at once? Also, what about the tachometer? I heard that you have to completely disassemble it in order to put another trim piece on it. Is that correct?

I believe it's the cupholder base.

I was lucky enough to get the full set from someone here on NAM. They had gotten them from their dealership. However it was through a friend that worked in the MINI service department. I don't know if they're generally available, I never checked. The tach was tricky until I got info from my seller. You do have to take it off, but, it isn't that difficult - even for me! I probably still have my notes (somewhere) if you need help when you get them contact me.

I also purchased the full set of the stick on covers. "Too much" chrome (or most anything else for that matter) is not part of my vocabulary. If it ever warms up here in Wisconsin I am going to add the pieces that aren't OEM chromed. More, Shiney, Good!!
