thanks guys....here is a ROUGH mock-up of where I think I am headed with the doors. Just fitting pieces, the sharpie colored blue areas will of course be blue leather, and the tan will be tan ostrich...to match the steering wheel cover...same size (it was planned that way )

Is there any place to get a pool ball shifter that's not quite as big as a real pool ball? I have small hands, not sure i'd like the size of a real pool ball. But $15 is really enticing..

 

well, the small 2" one was cheap on ebay....but it was junk and put together poorly. I am sure mounted, it would look fine, but I found it to be too small and the quality just really pushed me away and towards the real thing.

You could also contact Doug Whalen and see if he can get you a smaller billiard ball. the 2" version pictures, the junk one, is smaller than the OEM shift ****, and the regular sized Whalen billiard ball is perfect in size, not sure of dimensions though.
