Anyone take the main carpet section out?

I need to get it out but the accelerator pedal is in the way. I tried looking in the Bentley Manual with no sucess. Any ideas? BTW, I do not want to cut the carpet......lol

I took the one out in the mule from Webb Motorsports....we did some cutting, but we were not worried about keeping it. The accelerator pedal is a pain, and needs to be removed to get the carpet out IIRC.

That's what I'm asking...how do I get the pedal out to take the carpet out as a whole? I don't really want to cut.

I haven't done it in a while, but if I remember right you need to take off a cover on the left side, then there is a tab that you press to release the pedal from the base. Then it slides off. I'll take a closer look tomorrow and see if that jogs my memory.

I looked at my "06 today. On the left side about half way up it has a little tab. you press the tab down, then it slides to the left and off the base.

I'm in the process of putting my AP 6-point in. And by the end of the year (depending on finances)...a turbo MC is what I will have...
