Interior/Exterior pissed at my MINI

If you are still in waranty (unlikeley), take it to the dealer and they will fix it. Rattles were a big problem on earlier cars (and to some extent on the later ones). Other than that, try and isolate the source of the rattle and try and dampen it with some padding...

Yeah, unfortunately these things tend to develop rattles. The good news isd that the dealers are accustomed to this, and can usually get them eliminated. It may take more than one visit (sorry) and having a tech ride along with you as you point out exactly what/where the rattle is is very helpful.
Another thing that the dealer can check out for you is suspension bushings, bearings and bolts, and steering components. If you're saying that your car feels "floppy", like it's literally going to start coming apart, I'd have the steering and suspension checked out, and soon. There have been several steering and suspension related issues with MINIs. I'm on my fourth steering rack, and the big rear bushings on the front lower control arms have already been replaced. Unfortunately, if you're out of warranty, these thing may cost you a bit, but they can be taken care of.
