I have been working with www.myminiparts.com, they are soon changing their name to www.minspeed.net as of feb 15th or so.

Anyway, they are responsive, honest, and have been very helpful to me in my custom project, steering wheel, leather door cards, other options as well.

You will be very happy with them, I know I am impressed with their customer service at this point!!!

cheers
jon

Now how do you remove the 3 spokes to put new leather ones on.
I have taken out the hex screw, but is afraid I will set off air bag.
Any help would be nice.

Disconnect the battery negative terminal while doing this work, and that will disable all the sensors. Reconnect when you're all buttoned up. You'll lose your clock setting and some of your MPG data, but there's no chance of an accidental deployment. You should do this ANY time you're working around the air bags (seats, steering wheel or dash)...

so now do they just lift out. I can get the outside to come loose, but feels like something is holding it underneath the center of the horn.
