Interior/Exterior Valentine One with Llumar tinting?
I just ordered a Valentine One tonight and I was wondering if my 30% llumar tinting is going to be a problem. I scanned the warranty card I was given with my llumar so I can show you exactly what kinda tint the man installed.. anyone have any experiences or stories? I'm all ears......

Films containing metal serve will block or impede radar signals from reaching the receiver on radar detectors, including the V1 (I believe this is mentioned in the V1 manual).
If the V1 isn't behind a metalic strip on the front windshield it should be fine in detecting radar units in front of you. If you have metallic tint on the rear window, the rear sensitivity will be greatly reduced. I'd guess that the V1's side sensitivity will also be negatively affected as well.
If the V1 is behind any tinting it's sensitivity to laser will be reduced as well.
