In response to the length of the stick...
First, The OEM stick is not incorrect. One of the unique things about the MINI
Dipper is that many of the operations are done by hand. Consequently, the
length of the shaft varies slightly. However, the distance from the aluminum piece which touches the top of the downtube, to the laser marked gauge area, is always exactly the same. We are able to do this by using a custom setup piece which holds the part in place during the laser calibration. Therefore, the reading you see on the gauge will be the same as the OEM stick.
