Hi all,

the LAST July discount code, valid until Wednesday, July 25th (there will NOT be any more discount codes until mid to late August for sure!) is: 49RO567BH5E

A nice idea one of our customers had. A set of boots with stripes, but the ebrake boot is a color-wise negative of the shift boot. I like it a lot and can't wait for pics of these installed in the car!

Take care,
Maciek

Two neat ideas. This is light gray leather with dark blue piping:

And this, really cool stuff! Silver carbon fiver vinyl with black stripes, also CF vinyl.

Have a great weekend everyone,
Maciek

Everything's relative - but no, not really. Took me less than 30 minutes. Instructions are on the Redline Goods site - it's not super simple - especially the brake boot, which you have to finesse a bit to get it just right the first time - but it's not hard. You don't really have to remove the ebrake handle - I did mine with the handle still installed.

Does anyone know if the black leather with white piping colors are a good match with the MINI carbon black lounge leather? Is the white a creamy white or a stark white?

To be honest, you needn't worry about that. The area occupied by the piping is so small, that even if there is a slight difference between the piping and other interior pieces, it most likely won't even be noticable.

Hope that helps!

Hi everyone,

A nice comparison between light gray (two-tone, first pic) and medium gray (stripes, second pic):

I've decided to post these because a lot of people ask us what's better to match silver/aluminum accents in the interior. I'd say light gray, but medium gray also looks very good.

Discount code is valid until Monday, October 1st: 4IBES9X8003

Take care,
Maciek

Hello!

Stripes saga continued...

Oh, and the next code (which I will post in about 2-3 weeks) will also have stripes unless somebody sends me pics of a different setup that would knock me off my chair.

Discount code is valid until Wednesday, October 10th: 49GLQB8A030

Have a great weekend everyone!

Hey guys,

wasn't supposed to be posting another code until early November, but I couldn't help it after I got this email:

---------------------------------------
A few months ago I ordered a few different swatches of leather to see
what would look best in my car and what would handle the Texas summer
sun. I put them on the dash of my daily driver for 4 months!!! And
the colour didn't fade at all. I was to say the least, highly
impressed.

Regards,
Matt
---------------------------------------

Actually, so was I. The center console (shift boot, brake boot, armrest cover) does get a break in the sun pretty often - depending on which way you park the car. In Texas I imagine the dash barely ever gets any shade. I'd guess 4 months on the dash would be like 2 years in the cockpit of the car. Unless you drive a convertible and the top is always down, of course.

Decided to post this in case somebody would find this information useful.

Here's a pic, so that this post is not too boring:

Black leather and silver piping. Notice how perfectly it flows with those seats!

Here's the new code. Valid until Wednesday the 31st: 4ML98JV09N3

Take care,
Maciek

Any chance you'd consider making steering wheel covers for the MINI? I know that a lot of people REALLY like the John Cooper Works wheel, but it's $400+. I would love to see something in alecantra (sp?).

I'd love to. The problem is that with our production facility being in Europe it's too much of a logistical hassle.

Sorry,
Maciek

Hello,

here's the first discount code for 2008, preceded by two pictures. We decided to go back to the basics a little this time and show you a simple and elegant color combination: black faux-alcantara with red thread in a 01-04 Impreza WRX.

As you can tell the black faux-alcantara is not raven black, but slightly off-black. The pictures enhance this effect, in reality it's closer to black than these would suggest:

Here's the new code. Valid until Wednesday the 16th: FLF56G0M848

Take care,
Maciek
