I have a Alta short shifter im fitting next week and i wounderd what sort of throw reduction the middle position gives and whether its smooth.Also if i opt for the shortest throw position does any one know if this this still a smooth feel and still acurate.I assume the 3 notches on the shaft mean theres only 3 settings?Basicaly i want it as smooth and short a throw as pos without ruining gear selection.
