What holds the switch block to the bottom of the climate control?

Can someone that's taken off their OEM switch block tell me how it attaches to the underside of the climate control box? I thought it was held on with screws inserted through the down tubes, but I looked again and the screws are in the unit ABOVE the block. I'm looking to attach a second switch block to the bottom of the OEM one, and I'm tryng to figure out how to accomplish the trick. I had the bright idea to use the screws that hold on the OEM switch block for double-duty, but alas that's not gonna work.

Thanks in advance!

The switch block is simply fastened to the down tubes, and not directly attached to the climate control. The screws are not IN the unit above the block, that's simply where they screw into the downtubes. If you unscrew the two screws holding the switch block, it can be pulled out.

Here's a photo that was posted by tom@eas:

The toggle rack actually bolts to the structure behind the downtubes.
You might be able to rig a bracket with a strip of metal sandwiched under the original toggle rack and attach the second toggle rack to that, but you'd also need to trim away the downtubes to make room for it.
Would look pretty cool though.

OK that really helps... Thanks, guys! Looks like I'm screwing it to the bottom of the OEM block... the photos I've seen look like there's a ton of interior room in there.
