Has anyone painted the wing mirrors to match the bodywork?? Do the mirror shells
remove easily ? :smile:

Aloha,
I installed the MINI chrome mirrors therefore had to remove the original (black) mirror caps.
It removes fairly easy but you have to be careful not to break the tabs.
Pull back the top edge and insert a thin tool (I used a special installer plastic pick, similar to a curved popsicle stick) or a plastic knife, and slowly pry along the edges until you hear the tabs pop off. Once removed, you'll see the tabs and just line them up to the mirror tabs when reinstalling.

To your other question, since the black mirror caps are off, I will have them painted Vevet Red on a later date.......along with the side skirts, cowl vents, wind screen washer nozzle, and some other "stuff" I'm fabricating.
