I want to put sound dampening material under the rear seat.I've pull the bench up from the clips and cleared the seatbelts;but it seems to be caught on something.

If you take out the seat backs you can see that the center of the seat bottom hooks onto a bar at the back under the backs. Unhook that and it should fall right out.
