gauge wire for driving lights?
I just got done prewiring my 05MCSC for driving lights, Intercooler Diverter sprayer and Boost Gauge, before I install the Euro Parcel Tray. I used 16 gauge wire for the Driving Lights, at least from the sitch to the relay. Is this adequate? I am protecting the circuit with a 15 amp fuse. TIA Michael
if the 16awg is from the fuse box to your sw as a trigger, you're fine.
i think PIAA's come with either 18 or 20awg's.
i wouldn't use 16awg for the actual power going to the driving lights...
probably want to use 14awg for that just to be sure cause you never
know if you want to use high wattage bulbs later on.
