What do you think?

The style I have today is one that everyone loves, including myself! Don't get me wrong.

This style is not for everyone but I like it, the car looks so, baaaaad, in a good way.

What do you think? We'll see, maybe the car will look like this next year, I love the current style but it'd be nice to have a change. I'd love to repaint the car Alpine White and leave the roof black but it's such a big project and $$.

!!PHOTOCHOP!!

Today it looks like this:

Oh my god that is my dream MINI...minus the red. Make everything black, including tinting the windshield like 50% and you would have one killer MINI!

I think you can pull off most of that look with vinyl so you can do it cheap.

I'm in for the first pic. They both look great, but if I had to choose, it's "back in black".

I reckon it's perfect as it is...perhaps swap to the aero grille, or at least the <'05 grille surround (smooth)

Huh? Mine aren't photoshopped and they've been on the car for quite some time now.

I can attest to that...Jenn's wheels are "real" and they are magnificant......

(who first said that?)

Oh... and how do you plan to get the lip the chrome red color instead of red like paint?

Rota actually makes a wheel like that but I think they are only 15's. They are now making another wheel with a flat red lip but I have yet to see them in person. I need to look at their current lineup and see if they have added any more.

What I meant was I've had this idea for quite some time now. I'd like to get them anodized red, not painted but we'll see. Yeah I know Rota has the red ring on some rims, not the Subzeros though, if I'm not mistaken?

I like it... Not MY cup of tea, but at least it's different without going over into the realm of tacky. I'd add in an accent up front like those "black magic" driving lamps, though, but that's just me. Nicely thought-out.

I'm usually very conservative regarding exterior mods (I prefer low key), but I like this as the next step for your car. The anodized lips on the wheels are the key, as they will give you a look that is very unique. I admire you for always striving to move ahead with your car, unlike me, where I've pretty much stopped with the exterior mods.

Go for it!

Thank you! From what I've noticed I have a pretty general taste if I should call it that, what I mean is most people think my taste is very good, I hate tacky mods. The hardest part is that I really love how my car looks today, I really really like how it looks. I should just stop and leave it like it is exteriorwise because it is unique.

The problem is I want something new, something no one else has, something special. I think this is pretty special, the polished lip and dark center is pretty common today, dont get me wrong it looks awesome but its pretty common. But I mean, there is no other MINI in Sweden that is even close to looking as mine so it already is pretty special. But I don't know.

As I said, we'll see, I have all winter to think about it. I want two racing seats in the car though, that's for sure!

Use red interior lighting when you get everyting done for the final accent. Don't forget to replace the door sill lamps!

Terry Hatcher..."they're real, and they're SPECTACULAR!"

I like the current look, but total black out is eye catching, too.
