Interior/Exterior Mini mates!!

Mini mates!!
I'm considering putting an in-dash DVD player into my Mini S. I'm worried that when it pops up from the dash that the speedo will keep it from leaning back enough to make viewing clear enough. Has anyone out there put an in-dash DVD player in their mini????????
