I drive my Mini with the rear seats down. I hated how the space looked so I went searching for a rubber mat to cover the cargo area. I found some after market ones from mini vendors but they were exspensive. Was at Walmart and looked in their automotive section and found a universal trunk rubber mat that fit nicely with just a little bit of cutting. Now when I go shoping and slide bags and boxes into the back they do not scratch the back of the folded down seats and the carpet. Just thought I would pass this on.

 

Thanks for the info I took out the seaat backs all together, I may ise this until I get he carpet and Dynamat to complete the rear seat delete.

 

Forgot the cost of the rubber mat $26.99 LOL

 

SOunds like a deal to me, thats about the cost of plywood and mounting haedware for my custom project.
