Does any one have a PDF or JPG of the template for cutting the Aero grill that is specified by MINI in thier driving light install instructions?

They specifiy a template that gets attached to the Aero Grill that shows which parts to remove. Smokey is sending me some Driving light install info soon, not sure if he has this included as well so i figured i would ask the group.

No file needed if you look onthe back of the grill there is 2 oblong indents on the back of the grill, that is the location that you cut out. i had my lights installed first and added the grill later. I cut mine out with a dremel. I didn't cut out the whole indent just enough for the mount to slip through for a cleaner look.

 

thanks for that info. Actually got the template from the dealer, and then noticed that on the back as well.

 

Anybody have a pic of the marking on the back of the grill so I know what I am looking for? I see some markings on it but I'm not sure if I'm looking at the right spot.

I'm just looking for any sort of help with how to approach this install. I've got my driving lights sitting in a box right now, but I want them on the car.

I just recently ran into this same problem trying to install the factory driving lights. It really is as easy as looking at those two indents on the back of the grill. It is also where the brackets have to attach, so you know the lights go there. Wish you luck. (Sorry i don't have any pics)
