I got smacked in the rear. The rear JCW aero was destroyed and got a Duell AG rear after that.

Years ago, I had it done at a body shop. It's quite an intensive process as the mold release wax has to be very carefully stripped from the arches or the paint will peel / fail over time.
One of my local club members pointed out that in the 2012 JCW catalog, they are offering a painted arch kit now... something just added AFAIK. I had never heard of it before, but it appears that MINI is finally realizing the beauty of painted arches!
I haven't posted in this thread since 2006, I think... time to post a new pic (aero kit side sills only as I never cared for the aero kit bumpers... especially the rear one for the R53)
